what's the deal with elderberry syrup

Elderberries are rich in vitamins A, B, and C and stimulate the immune system. They've been a traditional cold and flu remedy for hundreds of years. They're known to have high antioxidant activity and the bioflavonoids and other proteins of the juice of the berry destroy the ability of a cold or flu virus to infect the cell.

why is filtered water important

In our home, we use the Berkey water filter. It filters viruses, pathogenic bacteria, lead, parasites, arsenic, iron, mercury, chlorine, trihalomethane, bisphenol-a, chloramines, pharmaceuticals, petroleum contaminants, methylcycohexane-methane, pesticides, heavy metals, coliform and e-coli, atrazine, uranium, gross alpha emitters, and fluoride. Those things could really be in our tap water? Yes! To find out what's in your tap water, go to ewg.org/tapwater.

why use local, 100% pure, raw honey

It's a great source of antioxidants, vitamins and minerals! It's antibacterial and antifungal properties and phytonutrients help support your immune system. Local honey is also great for easing allergies!

how much should I take

It's recommended that adults take 1 tbsp and children take between 1/2-1 tsp. Some like to take it daily while others take it every other day or so. When you're not feeling well, you can take it every few hours.

how do I take it

You can drink it straight from a spoon, drizzle it over your yogurt, or add it to a smoothie. It's totally up to your preference!
